At the start of this day trip to Olympia, all visitors will be picked up from their resorts at approximately 8:00 am. Then you will all be transferred to the main port in Zakynthos Town where you will meet the ferry boat. From the port, the ferry travels over to the mainland of Greece, which will take about one hour and 15 minutes. On the ferry, you can get a snack bar and you will also find toilet facilities if needed.

Once you arrive at Kyllini Port on the mainland, you will get back on the couch and be guided through a 50 minutes’ drive south. Upon arrival, you will get to the highlight of the trip - the archaeological site of Olympia.

At the Olympia, there will be an official guide from the site who will provide you with a full tour of some of Greece's treasures. You will discover the location of the Temple of Zeus, which is one of the seven wonders of the world. Furthermore, you will see the Temple of Hera, where the statue of Hermes was found. In addition, you will be shown the original position of the Olympic flame and the original Olympic stadium. During the guided tour there will also be a visit to the museum at Olympia.

Following the official visits, the coach will take the group to the village of Olympia where you can get lunch, and maybe do a bit of shopping. Once you leave Olympia, it is time for the trip back to Kyllini Port to meet the ferry boat. From here, you will sail back to Zakynthos. The ferry will arrive back in Zakynthos Port at about 6:30 pm. This will be a 10 hour tour, full of interesting experiences.
