Zakynthos Ferry Services

Travelers visiting the island of Zakynthos can choose to take a ferry trip from the island to explore even more of Greece. Zakynthos has two ports. The main port is located in the city center of Zakynthos. Visitors will find the other port in the village of Agios Nikolaos. From the main port in Zakynthos, there is a ferry connection to the port of Kyllini on the mainland. From the port of Agios Nikolaos, visitors will find a ferry connection to the port of Pesada on the island of Kefalonia.

Ferry route between Zakynthos and Kyllini 

The Kyllini Zakynthos ferry route connects Greece with Zakynthos. Levante Ferries is the company operating this ferry connection. The crossing between the island and the mainland operates up to 35 times each week.

The ferry routes are operated by Levante Ferries’ state-of-the-art ships, “Fior di Levante”, “Mare di Levante”, “Andreas Kalvos”, and “Kefalonia”.

A one-way ticket cost 9.50 € for a single adult. A ticket for children between the age of 5-10 years costs 5.50 €, and for children below the age of 5 years, the ferry ticket is free.

Ferry route between Zakynthos and Kefalonia

From the port of Agios Nikolaos on Zakynthos island, visitors will find a ferry connection to the port of Pesada on the island of Kefalonia. The ferry trip from Zakynthos to Kefalonia takes approximately 1 hour.

The ferry company Ionion Pelagos operates the ferries between Kefalonia and Zakynthos. Ferry tickets can be bought on the ferry before departure.

• The ferry departs from Kefalonia daily at 07.45 am and 06.00 pm.
• The ferry departs from Zakynthos daily at 09.45 am and 07.45 pm.
